Roberta's newest children's book, illustrated by her granddaughter, Gracie M. Sawatzky, is Gramma's Freckles.

Her passion for people, stories, and culture comes from growing up in Northern Ireland, immigrating to Canada, and

traveling widely — experiences that shaped her deep interest in how we grow through change.

Whether she’s writing, speaking, coaching, sharing reflections in her books, or sipping espresso at a local café, Roberta

brings curiosity, warmth, and a deep respect for the human journey. She lives in Kelowna, BC with where she enjoys biking,

books, walks, and exploring the Okanagan’s wineries. She’s endlessly proud of her two children, their partners, and eight

delightful grandchildren who keep life full of love and adventure.
